Our next math circle will meet on Friday, April 28th, at 6 pm in PKH 311. Note that the meeting day and tim are different than usual. Our guest speaker is Dr. Natalia Rozhkovskaya from Kansas State University. The title of her talk is”Ordinary geometrical objects in higher dimensional spaces”. The main question that will be discussed at the meeting is the following: what are the higher-dimensional analogues of familiar geometric shapes, and what are their basic properties?
As usual, our math circle is intended for high-school and advanced middle-school students. Teachers and college students are welcome to the meetings as well. The webpage of our math circle is http://midcitiesmathcircle.org. Many thanks to Mr. Anupam Vach for helping us with the web site.
If you plan to come to our math circle and do not know where to park, a good option is to park at the Garage right next to PKH. Please, keep the parking receipts, as you may be reimbursed later. Maps of the campus can be downloaded at http://www.uta.edu/maps/pdf
